2021 Coaching Packages

Road, trail, and mountain racing up to the marathon distance: $115 per month
Distances 100k and above: $125 per month

 

50k and 50 mile race courses span a wide range of terrain, elevation, and other aspects of difficulty. Rates for these distances vary based on technical factors to ensure Coach Sayard can have you ready for race day. Please reach out for a custom quote if you have one of these distances in mind. 

 

Includes personalized, day-by-day training plan structured to fit your needs and help you meet your goals. Coach will assess your current fitness level, talk through your future goals and design workouts to help you prepare for the distance and terrain you have your sights set on. Your workouts and race day plans are designed based on Coach Sayard's assessment of the details of your race course/goal distance, location, terrain, elevation, and time cutoffs.

 

Discounted rates for payment in full in advance*:

  • 3 months in advance: $110 per month

  • 6 months in advance: $105 per month

  • One year in advance: $100 per month

*Deferring or pausing training: Coach requests a minimum notice of 21 days, when possible, if you know you will need to pause your training. Giving notice and setting your intentions with Coach will ensure your return at the rate at which you stopped. Rates will continue for the 12 months after your return. If there are other athletes ahead of you on the waitlist, you will be given priority status as a returning athlete. Giving notice allows Coach to accept another athlete wanting to pursue their goals. This notice does not apply to injuries.

Sayard Tanis Personalized Coaching Provides

  • Specific instructions for each day of the week including:

    • Daily running workouts (warm up/cool down, distance/time, effort level, suggested terrain and elevation and other metrics related to your goal)

    • Cross training, strength and stretching instructions

    • Guidance for rest and recovery

  • Monthly check in phone calls (or alternate communication if preferred)

  • Weekly check in emails

  • Text and email availability to coach for pop-up questions or concerns - Coach will notify you if she will be unreachable for more than 24 hours

  • Review and updates of training plans, workouts and goals as you progress

  • Race schedule advice and planning

  • Race day planning including strategy, gear lists and nutrition

  • Assistance and guidance with injury recovery

  • Access to Sayard Tanis Coaching Facebook group for updates, athlete community support, team events, race info, gear and nutrition reviews and other suggestions

Other Coaching Services

Custom Coaching and Consulting

     $30 per hour or $100 for 4 hours

 

Not ready to commit to a full package? Are you questioning if a full program is right for you? Do you feel like you have a pretty good idea of what you’re doing but could use a little help with planning and executing? Then coaching and consulting could be for you!
 

Through phone calls (as well as follow up emails and texts after phone calls), Coach Sayard will:

 

  • Evaluate your current training plan and offer ideas to enhance or encourage your development

  • Advise on how to adapt your training for different distances and types of courses

  • Provide guidance on fueling and nutrition for training and racing

  • Develop goals and plan a race schedule based on your training and ability

  • Work with you through injuries and help execute a safe return to running


 

Race Day Planning
   
 $150 per race

 

Head to the starting line feeling confident and prepared with a custom race day plan designed by Coach Sayard. Preparedness is key to peace of mind on race day!  

 

Race Day Planning includes: 

  • One-hour initial consult call

  • Two 30 minute follow up calls

  • A custom packing list so you arrive with everything you need

  • A gear list to make sure you have the appropriate attire for your race and conditions

  • A nutrition breakdown so you know what to give your body and when for optimal performance

  • Email and text availability for questions and follow up

  • Develop race day strategy and execution plan with targeted goals to maximize race day performance
